It’s hard to believe that it’s almost Valentine’s Day already. It was only a year ago that Joe left me in Las Vegas to start a new job and my dream of finally getting out of there was being realized. Even now there aren’t really any words to fully describe how I felt about moving on with our life. It felt like it had taken forever, and I was so relieved and yet, this morning, as I discovered some old photographs in an account I forgot I had, I found myself reminiscing over those ‘good times’ we had there.
Funny how that works.
Anyway, I found some super cute Valentine’s ideas and thought I’d share. Just in case that’s your thing. I did a small bit of decorating, like I always do. For the kids, mostly. Just a couple things, here and there. Lukas no longer cares (in fact, the days of him wanting to be around us are slowing waning, and that should require its own entry eventually), but Ava loves it a lot.

I’ll be finding myself some molds to make these. My mom would love them.

Super cute, super shabby chic.

Also cute and probably easy for the Av’s to make. But her and I are going to do something else that day.

I think I’ve posted this before but it’s soo adorable. Apparently buttons are the thing this year.

As soon as we get our new mantel built I’d like to do something like this.

If I entertained, I’d do a spread like this. So cozy and romantic.

These would be fun to have. If I could buy them. Cause we all know I’m too lazy to make them.

More buttons.

Something cute to wake up to on the left. On the right, zippers and felt. Cute, right?
Love shabby chic
